Postponed to 2022
Due to circumstances beyond our control, the planned NZMS colloquium for 2021 has been postponed to 2022. The expected dates for the meeting in 2022 are 6-8 December.
The 2021 Colloquium will be hosted by the University of Canterbury (Ilam campus) and online from Tuesday December 7 to Thursday December 9, with a welcome for those attending in person on the Monday evening.
The annual Colloquium brings together the mathematical community of New Zealand.
Time will be dedicated to the discussion of all aspects of pure and applied mathematics and statistics. Talks will be given by internationally recognized leaders in the field and also by emerging researchers and postgraduate students.
The conference will be held in Rātā (the Engineering Core) on the UC Campus with talks being held in the E5, E6, E7, E9 Lecture Theatres, as well as online via Zoom.
Unfortunately, due to uncertainty around Covid-19 restrictions, the conference dinner has had to be cancelled. Closer to the date, we may be able to arrange some smaller dinner but cannot guarantee this currently.
